Every Harry Potter Video Game Ranked Worst To Best

3. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7

Lego Harry Potter Years 5 7
Traveller's Tales

However, Years 5-7 takes all of the charm and success of the first game and really runs away with them to create a far more accomplished Lego Harry Potter game. The film series notoriously becomes quite bleak from year four onwards, and there's just something so fresh and welcoming about seeing a bunch of Lego characters injecting some lightheartedness into these darker times.

Once again, the visuals look great, the mechanics run smoothly and the puzzle elements that have become so iconic with Lego's video games slot right in with a world filled with wizards and their magical spells.

One small blip against Years 5-7 is the fact that the online play that was available on the game prior is absent on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, however that shouldn't take away from how many good points it continues bring to the table. The new locations and characters are some of the best the franchise has ever produced, the cutscenes and animations feel more complete than in the game previous, and the overall storylines of the franchise's later years just seem to make the jump to Lego-based video game that little bit better.
