6. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4

Release Date: Oct. 12th

Looking to be the biggest shakeup of Call of Duty gameplay yet, BlOps 4 is pretty much Activision analysing the competition i.e. Overwatch, and designing a game with specialist classes/"heroes" in mind.

Now, Black Ops 3 did beat Overwatch to the punch in this regard, but you need only look at all the fantastical ground-pounds and soaring flying melee kills to see where influence is coming from.

Black Ops 4 will also be the first COD to ditch its single-player campaign, instead releasing in three "pillars": The multiplayer component we know and love, an as-yet-unseen battle royale mode that combines multiple maps into one gigantic landmass, and Zombies.

The community is split right down the middle on so many changes at such a quick pace, but honestly? The gameplay that's out there looks brilliant.
