10. Toni Cipriani - GTA: Liberty City Stories
Toni is mainly known for his role as second-in-command (and eventual heir) of GTA III's Leone Family, one of the game's central non-player characters. It was therefore a no-brainer to make him the protagonist of Liberty City Stories, a game which charts his rise back up through the ranks of the gang after a prolonged period of absence. Set three years before the events of GTA III, Liberty City Stories sees the player assume control of a slightly younger, far leaner Toni. He retains many of his personality traits, appearing fiercely loyal, short-tempered, murderously vengeaful, and still curiously admirable.
