Final Fantasy VI always gets all the accolades, but for many series fans, the eighth instalment is the better game of the PS1 era. Regardless, over the years it has gotten the cold shoulder in terms of re-releases...until now.
Square Enix is not doing a full remake but instead has remastered all graphics, including reworking all character models from the ground up. The gameplay will remain the same, although there will be plenty of tweaking options to create a more streamlined experience if the gamer chooses.
