Fallout 4: 10 Locations That Could Be The Next New Vegas

6. Arroyo & San Francisco

Whatever happened to Arroyo? We know that the fascinating, spiritual town at the centre of Fallout 2 went on to become a thriving metropolis thanks to the heroic efforts of the Chosen One in acquiring the GECK, but perhaps we could revisit the legendary town to protect it from a resurgent Enclave or a new threat that arises in the area. Arroyo is located on the border between southern Oregon and northern California, and enough time has passed since Fallout 2 that the area could receive a current-gen revival. And who better to do it than Obsidian? Revamping the game that brought the development team to global prominence would surely be a labour of love that Obsidian would gladly take on. For people who played Fallout 2, it'd be a joy to revisit areas like the Broken Hills, the Toxic Caves and, of course, San Francisco - a fascinating city-hub inhabited by Chinese war survivors and the Hubologist cult. For new players, it'd be a great opportunity to explore what many people still see as the most lore-filled, narratively inspiring areas in the entire series. The series hasn't yet revisited areas from the first two games, and with the amount of sentimentality fans have towards Fallout 2, perhaps going back to this corner of the world would be the perfect move.
