War. War never changes. According to rumours however, it seems that Fallout 4 may include some changes after all and one of them would be quite a major difference. So far in every major Fallout game, actor Ron Perlman has read the introduction which always begins with War. War never changes. Its a famous statement and a staple of the series. But according to the casting notes released, those famous lines are instead being attributed to the player character. This presumably means that there would be no Ron Perlman in the game, as after all if he was to voice the main character from start to finish then there wouldnt be a casting call out for the main character. The only game that Perlman hasnt voiced the intro for thus far was Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel which was dreadfully received from start to finish by reviewers. While leaving Perlman out would result in some negative fan comments online, it would be likely to leave sales unaffected. After all, Fallout 4 should make Bethesda a hefty volume of cold, hard cash regardless. But it was rumoured that Perlman wouldnt voice the intro for New Vegas either and that turned out to be false this thankfully just doesnt seem to be very likely at all. After all, Brotherhood of Steel changed several things about the game and not just the intro, and Bethesda will be looking to deliver on a real Fallout experience once again for part four. Likelihood: 5/10
