Fallout 4's Upcoming DLC: Everything You Need To Know
8. 'Lonesome Rhode' Is (Sadly) Not A Real Thing
You may have heard talk of a huge, Rhode Island-based DLC pack on the horizon earlier this month. The stories claimed that this item would, in fact, be the huge DLC mass that Bethesda had been talking about for sometime and that it would feature a full recreation of the State.
Many sites and sources ran with this information that first surfaced on April 1st. The announcement was made by "Bethesdas Vice President of Public Relations, Howard Maiq", and if that information doesn't concern you then we have a bit of a problem.
This was, of course, an April Fool's hoax. The allusion to M'aiq is influenced by the iconic Elder Scrolls character known as M'aiq The Liar, who will offer the player sketchy information whenever he's encountered in-game.
Obviously none of you streetwise folk would have fallen for such a dirty trick, but many people weren't so lucky and ran the story. Awkward!
