Fallout 5: 10 Latest Rumours You Need To Know
8. BattleCry Studios May Be Involved In Its Development
Bethesda's parent company ZeniMax Media founded BattleCry Studios to work on a multiplayer combat game which never happened, but the development team has since been assigned to other ventures. Could one of them be Fallout 5?
Rumblings from the rumour mill suggest the answer to that question is yes. Multiple reports have claimed the studio is working on a triple-A title for Bethesda, and many have tipped the project to involve post-apocalyptic wastelands and VATS.
Although there's no evidence of any substance to suggest BattleCry has been assigned to Fallout, the fact Obsidian Entertainment has downplayed its involvement with the sequel suggests another Bethesda subsidiary is handling it, given that the Bethesda Game Studios team will have their hands full with Elder Scrolls VI.
BattleCry was responsible for the multiplayer mode in 2016's Doom reboot, so if they are indeed involved with Fallout 5, perhaps those rumours that it will include an online mode aren't so far fetched after all.
