Fallout 76: 9 Big Questions We Still Have
2. What Are The Plans For Fallout Shelter?
Bethesda sure like their mobile games. At the same time Fallout 4 was shown off, we were introduced to Fallout Shelter, which helped build hype in the run-up to Fallout 4's release. It's very possible that Fallout Shelter will begin to tease elements of Fallout 76 ahead of November.
Before Fallout 4's released, characters like Preston and Piper began popping up in Vaults, and this was before people knew much about them. It's very possible they'll do the same for Fallout 76.
Given that Fallout Shelter is still wildly popular - it's had more players than any of the other Fallout games, according to Bethesda themselves - it would make sense that Bethesda use this platform as a way to advertise their upcoming game. They're still actively updating it with offers, seasonal celebrations and cycling quests, and there's no mention of Fallout Shelter 2, so Bethesda are definitely still spending time on it.
Let's hope that Bethesda uses this opportunity to spruce up Fallout Shelter - it's getting a bit old and stale for people that have used it since release, and it could do with some reinvigorating!
