Bale says its a gesture dedicated to his girlfriend, but to the football world outside White Hart Lane its only an annoying reminder that Tottenham have scored. Its a much discussed celebration; dividing opinion among fans- it even has its own Facebook page. Strangely enough its not a celebration invented by Bale, but its been popularised by him to a degree where he is synonymous with the Bale heart. It is nonetheless a classic; scoring a goal with Bales glorious 93 sprint speed and seeing him celebrate in any other way would simply not be right and it would be a well received addition to the game, one which would make the experience all the more realistic.
