Daniel Sturridge has been a revelation since leaving Chelsea for Liverpool in January this year. At Stamford Bridge, the England international cut a frustrated figure, making just the seven appearances in his final months at the club before completing a switch to Anfield in the winter window. There, however, he has sparked into life, bagging himself 10 goals from 14 appearances before going on to score a further seven in eight overall outings this term, too. With Luis Suarez up until last week suspended, Sturridge has delivered the goals for Liverpool and has stepped up to the plate when he was most needed. It is for this reason why the star deserves a much better rating of 80, considering he looks set to finish this season as one of the top goalscorers in the division.
