FIFA 15: 10 Brand New Features To Make It The Best Ever

8. Stretchers

Another minor alteration yet one that could improve FIFA 15's playing experience tenfold. Injuries happen in football - a lot. Sometimes it's just a minor sprain that the player is able to run off, other times it's a fully-blown hamstring tear that leaves a performer wincing in agony on the ground. In extreme cases, a player needs to be stretchered off the pitch. We saw it at this summer's World Cup. Neymar was kneed in the back by Colombia's Juan Zuniga and so serious was the collision that the Brazil striker thought he was paralysed. He had to be stretchered off the pitch and was even airlifted to hospital. We aren't suggesting EA include helicopters to whisk stricken stars off for medical attention, but the inclusion of a stretcher cut-scene would add to the realism. Again it's a minor touch but it is certainly an improvement on FIFA's current injury animation. Presently, if a player is injured and needs to be substituted, a cut-scene will show him hobbling off - even if he has broken his shoulder, which is nothing short of ridiculous.
