FIFA 15: 10 Brand New Features To Make It The Best Ever

7. A More Expansive Create A Manager Mode & Manager Retirement

The create a manager feature currently exists in the FIFA franchise - but it's woefully limited. At the beginning of career mode, players are able to create a manager by choosing a name and nationality and selecting from basic parameters including outfit style - track suit, suit or shirt and tie - suit colour - grey or navy - and skin tones and body type - slim, regular or stocky. The option are too few. We think a more expansive create a manager mode would go down very well in 15. The option of creating a boss in your own personal likeness and having them depicted in cut-scenes would make playing through career mode more worthwhile, while we also want the opposition manager to be a lifelike representation of a real life manager, like Jose Mourinho or Arsene Wenger, for example. As it is, cut-scenes during the game show your created manager responding to the match action and it is so very generic, particularly when the opposition manager is sometimes your identical twin. An animation of your own personally created topflight boss with spiky green hair and an orange suit celebrating a goal would certainly make playing through career mode a more unique - and thereby rewarding - experience. Additionally, FIFA's career mode makes it possible to play seasons through to 2040. I don't want to see Arsene Wenger on the opposition's touchline 26 years from now, thank you very much. Rival managers should retire or be sacked throughout the course of career mode - it is possible for you to be axed, and it should be possible for others to get the heave-ho as well.
