FIFA 15: 10 New Premier League Transfers Who Should Be Rated Highest

5. Didier Drogba €“ 82 (FIFA 14 €“ 83)

Didier Drogba, the Chelsea legend who dominated the Premier League for 8 years before leaving on the high of victory in the Champions League, has rejoined his old club and will still be relatively highly rated in FIFA 15. The Ivorian striker was rated a mighty 86 on FIFA when he left the club two years ago. Now 36-years-old, it is little wonder that the effects of age have seen Drogba€™s rating downgraded, though he was still given a serviceable 83 on FIFA 14. The man who virtually won Chelsea the Champions League in his final match against Bayern Munich will likely play a very different role in the 2014/15 campaign, primarily brought in to use as an impact substitute and to inject some much needed experience into the squad which has recently lost veteran players like Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole. That being said, Drogba has proven in his recent outings for Galatasaray that he is still more than capable of scoring frequently, despite his aging legs. EA has a habit of gradually lowering the ratings of veteran greats to reflect their declining pace. It is likely that Drogba will be marginally downgraded in FIFA 15 but will retain the strength, finishing and aerial ability which make him a deadly striker in the game.
