FIFA 15: 10 Players Who Should Have Been Top 20

8. Marco Reus - Ranked 26th, Rated 86

Marco Reus has seen a boost in ratings since FIFA 14 but not enough for him to climb into this year's top-20. His score of 86 is a marginal increase from his rating of 85 12 months ago, and sees him come in at 26th on the top-50. Which is somewhat harsh as the Borussia Dortmund man is one of the best midfielders in the world at present. Reus scored 16 Bundesliga goals from just 30 appearances in 2013-14 while he was also the top assist-maker in the German league, setting up 14 goals. That put him ahead of the likes of Bayern Munich duo Franck Ribéry and Mario Götze in terms of goal-creation, yet he will be nowhere near the aforementioned stars in 15's ratings system. Still only 25, Reus has all the makings of becoming one of the best attacking midfielders in the business and the fact he was named Dortmund's Player of the Year in 2014 is indicative of his burgeoning potential. Unfortunately, fans won't see him make the top 20 in '15, as EA have bizarrely decided his recent performances are worthy of only a one-point increase, meaning he comes up just short of the game's best players.
