Neymar's rating is shocking. That he is rated only the 30th best player on FIFA 15 is truly perplexing and his one-point increase from last year's score of 85 is completely disproportionate from his recent performances for club and country. The striker shone in his debut campaign with Barcelona, scoring 15 goals in league and cup, while he basically carried Brazil to the semi-finals of the World Cup. The former Santos star carried a nation's expectations on his shoulders at this summer's finals as his country held the World Cup and while he could so easily have choked on the pressure, he stepped up to the plate and delivered four goals and an assist, finishing as the third-highest goalscorer at the competition. Injury robbed him of the chance of playing in the semi-finals and third-place play-off and had he been fit he would surely have added more to that tally and may even have won the Golden Boot. So a one-point increase from his score of 85 in '14 really is astonishing considering Neymar is already one of the best players on the planet right now at the age of just 22. To put him on the same point score as Rooney is also baffling.
