FIFA 14 Rating: 72 Regardless of any criticisms of the quality of the SPL, scoring 20 goals in any league campaign is very much worthy of acclaim, and that is precisely what Anthony Stokes managed last season, despite a poor start. With the arrival of Leigh Griffiths, the former Hibs striker found his shooting boots and ended on the nice round number in the 5-2 win over Aberdeen, and showed in the second half of the season more promise than he has for some seasons. FIFA 14 already recognised his best attributes, giving impressive ratings for Shoot Power, speed and Agility, but for a striker, his shooting rating was far from eye-catching to the point that it always felt smarter to go out and bring someone else in with greater composure. But on the back of his 20 goal haul last year, Stokes might well enjoy an improvement in that key department, which would also account for the general improvement in his overall rating. He should at least be closer to 80 for his finishing than the 73 he was rated at last year.
