FIFA 14 Rating: 72 Like Lustig, Pukki started last year's game with a base rating some way off his potential growth (a comparatively impressive 78), which was mostly reflective of his apparent inability to do anything other than be a striker in EA Sports' eyes. In FIFA 14, he was quick, agile and possessed good striking skills, but he couldn't pass, tackle, or cross and his vision was woeful (a little ridiculously, considering he's a striker, and it's basically a key part of his job), an while his attacking stats were about right, it's a little unfair how much the rest were downgraded. In real life the former Sevilla and Schalke man has hardly been prolific, but 7 goals in 16 starts is hardly disastrous. The Finn has admitted that his debut season after moving from Germany was disappointing, but he proved with some deft attacking displays that there is probably a lot more to come from him (as EA basically confirmed with that potential rating last year). Though his first full season wasn't exactly great, Pukki is motivated and confident, as he's told the press and he has already scored twice in Europe, so perhaps a slight increase would be fair.
