4. Proper Slide Tackles
At times on FIFA 14 your defenders resembled players that had just had the rug pulled from under their feet; awkward, clumsy and miscalculated slide tackles raised frustration levels, however, perfectly timed slide tackles that just presented the ball to the opposition striker in a better position tipped you over the edge. Every defender felt like theyre were fighting the forces of gravity when returning to their feet after attempting a slide tackle which meant, by the time theyd dusted themselves off, the opposition were already performing knee slides, cartwheels and head shakes over in the corner. FIFA 15 allows the meaty, crunching and impeccably timed slide tackles to not only do their job but also allows the defender to retain possession when they come out the other side. Just imagine, Martin Skrtel has just won possession cleanly from Romelu Lukaku and straight away the Liverpool defender is on his feet, catching Everton on the back foot, as he sends a long ball through to Daniel Sturridge who cooly slots past an unaware Tim Howard.
