FIFA 15 Ratings: 10 Criminally Underrated Superstars
2. Diego Costa (85)
Despite the fact only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo outscored him in Spain last season, Diego Costa is ranked as just the 37th best player on FIFA 15 with a dismal overall rating of 85 - up from just one point a year ago. Costa was on fire for Atletico Madrid in 2013-14, with his 27 La Liga goals firing his club to their first Spanish title since 1996. Costa also scored eight goals in nine Champions League appearances last term, equalling the record held by Vavá since 1959 for the most in a season by an Atlético player and helping the Spanish side reach the final, where they lost out to cross-city rivals Real Madrid. Yet in spite of his prolific goalscoring he is still somewhat underrated in '15. He has the dubious honour of being tied with veteran Carlos Tevez with his score of 85 despite scoring more goals than the Argentinian, while players such as Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie scored fewer times than the Brazil-born Spain international yet are still further up the rankings. This is Costa's first time in the top 50 and he should surely be higher than 37th place.
