Poor Isco. It seems that practically ever since he was unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu, he's been frequently linked with moves away from it.

His star has certainly faded from when he lit up Malaga's Champions League journey during the 12/13 season - and which prompted a big-money move to Real Madrid in the first place - as he now finds the door firmly shut on his international career... but not yet locked.

The 24-year-old is a talented individual, but once again most of his 43 appearances last season came from the bench and so it's no surprise that he was only able to contribute with just the five goals.

It was by no means a disastrous campaign for Isco, but it wasn't enough to force his way into Vincent del Bosque's plans for Euro 2016, and he might feel as though he is approaching a crossroads in his career as he embarks on a fourth - and possibly final - season in Madrid.
