Somebody needs to have a word in Alvaro Morata's ear regarding how he makes decisions for the benefit of his career.

Leaving the Santiago Bernabeu in 2014 had appeared to be a positive step forward as the then-21-year-old sought regular first-team football at Juventus having become sick of leaving an indent on the Real Madrid bench.

He would go on to score 27 goals in 93 appearances for the 'Old Lady', and even fired two goals past his former club in the victorious 14/15 Champions League semi-final.

Because of this excellent form, he has established himself as the main man for his country and repaid Vincent del Bosque's faith with three goals at Euro 2016.

However, with Real Madrid having activated a buy-back clause, he is now back where he started and while his stock has risen, he surely can't be expecting to dislodge Benzema - a man who bagged 24 goals in 27 league games last term.

Following a similarly impressive season as the 14/15 one, his rating remains unadulterated. Revisit the situation in a year when his backside is full of splinters, and it will no doubt have changed dramatically.

FIFA 16 Rating: 81
