FIFA 18: 10 Best Players In The Game
9. Toni Kroos (Real Madrid)
Real Madrid's midfield machine has jumped from 27th to 9th in the FIFA rankings this year. That's quite the leap, but it's likely down to his real-life accomplishments in the famous white shirt; Kroos won the Champions League and La Liga titles with Madrid in season 2016-2017, and he was a crucial part of the engine room throughout that campaign.
EA were paying attention enough to recognise just how important Kroos is. The ex-Bayern man has gone from an 88 rating in FIFA 17 to a massive 90 in the new game. All of his stats aside from passing and physical (which remain the same) have improved. He's hardly the quickest, but his wicked combo of 81 shooting and 88 passing make him one of the best midfielders around.
As if 81 on shooting wasn't enough, Toni also has a 5-star weak foot skill, meaning players don't need to worry about positioning when lining up for a shot. Unlike Gonzalo HiguaĆn, it's easy to see why the Munich man's improved stats make him part of the Top 10.
