FIFA 18: 7 Players Who Can’t Be Happy With Their Rating
4. Dele Alli
If EA are to be believed, their Top 100 list takes into account what footballers achieved in both domestic and international competition for a full 12 months before the latest FIFA release. Isolating the Top 30 Premier League stars to illustrate Dele Alli's frustration, the Spurs star is ranked as 29th out of 30 in EA's eyes. Why?
Alli had another sparkling season at White Hart Lane, scoring 22 goals and regularly being a stand out performer alongside Harry Kane in the Tottenham team. Whilst Kane may well be irked by his own Premier League ranking (21st), that's nothing compared to Dele Alli's annoyance. Just look at some of the men ahead of him.
What have names like Bernarno Silva, Alexandre Lacazette or İlkay Gündoğan achieved in England to better him? They're all good players, but they didn't have a season in England to rival Alli's, for various reasons. Worse, sick note Man City defender Vincent Kompany was ranked 22nd in the Top 30 Premier League players, and he barely played a game last season.
