FIFA 18 Career Mode: 10 Wonderkids You Will Need To Sign
4. Renato Sanches (Bayern Munich)
Renato Sanches' career stalled in 2016-17. The Portuguese midfielder joined Bayern Munich in a deal worth up to €80 million after emerging as Euro 2016's breakout star, but hasn't been able to hold down a regular place in the squad. Still, writing him off at 19 years old would be absurd, and Sanches remains one of Europe's most highly regarded youngsters.
Renato has been linked with a move to Man United, but Bayern president Uli Hoeness recently stated that he'll be given another year to impress in Munich. His lack of progress last season should make him easier to acquire in FIFA 18, but his skills aren't likely to see a significant reduction in the upcoming game, and neither is his immense potential.
Equally impressive as a ball carrier or playmaker, Sanches is the kind of player you'll want to build your midfield around. His technique, power, and movement made him one of FIFA 17's most sought after wonderkids, but he started just 6 Bundesliga games last season, and was on the pitch for just over 600 minutes of total game time. Sanches' career needs a kick-start, and a big transfer could do just that.
