EA's Sky Sports-style branding for La Liga was gorgeous in FIFA 18. Seeing the right graphics suite overlay pre-match build up did so much to set the scene for each match, and those slick greyed-out club logos looked smart.

It's just a shame that Spanish football fans were left with only Atlético's Wanda Metropolitano and Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadiums to choose from. There's another big one missing, but we'll get to that a little later. For now, it's time to pine for a proper experience elsewhere.

Valencia, one of Spain's biggest sides, used to take it for granted that their Mestalla Stadium would be featured in FIFA. It was missing from FIFA 18 however, and it felt like a glaring omission considering the new TV-style presentation EA touted.

Watch any Valencia match and the Mestalla plays a starring role. If EA are serious about making the Spanish league essential, then they should be willing to do what it takes to get this landmark ground back as part of FIFA 19's roster.
