Admittedly, this may seem like a minor thing to those who either don't care much about absolutely spot on licensing or think Italian football should have stayed in the '90s with James Richardson. Whatever your thoughts on Serie A though, it's great to hear that it'll finally be called that again in FIFA 19.

No more "Calcio A" and no more fake Scudetto trophy that looks more like your aunt's fruit bowl after a polish.

EA must be buzzing about this, because it's another step towards that fully-licensed product they so crave. The Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga and MLS will now all have that dead-on presentation fans of those leagues expect when they tune into matches on TV.

Slight change or not, it's a leap up from subpar competition logos, made-up cups and all that nonsense. Italian football deserves to be showcased the same as every other major European division. Now, if only EA would do the same with the Scottish Premiership...
