FIFA 19: 8 Surprises From The Top 100 Players

3. Lewandowski's Nonsensical Slide

Robert Lewandowski, as usual, romped home with the top scorer plaudits in last season's Bundesliga campaign. The Polish striker netted 29 league goals for champions Bayern Munich and he's already off the mark with two strikes from two matches in the new campaign.

Somehow despite that terrific form, he's dropped from #6 in FIFA 18's Top 100 players to #11.

In FIFA 19, Lewandowski will be the fourth-best full-blown attacker. He sits snugly behind Luis Suárez, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Hardly bad company to be in, and yet Bayern's goal machine will be disappointed to fall short of players in other positions.

Munich teammate Toni Kroos is above him, as is Chelsea's Eden Hazard. Last season, Lewandowski netted 17 more goals than Hazard (who bagged 12) in league play. Although the Bundesliga is arguably an easier division than the Premier League, it's still harsh he's fallen so many places.
