FIFA 19 Career Mode: 8 New Things You Need To Know
4. You Can Play Ultimate Difficulty
Finding a balance between fair challenge and impossible AI is one of the biggest tasks facing EA this year. In FIFA 18, they got it badly wrong. Any hardcore player will know that World Class was, at times, harder than Legendary, and that shouldn't have been the case. That's the wrong way round, and it's a blessing then to know 19 has a solution to this glitch.
Bring Ultimate difficulty to Career Mode.
Previously, Ultimate was (fittingly) only available for those playing FUT. It's a hard-as-nails setting that should solve the problem Careers suffered a few seasons in. Namely, they became a little too easy, and the mode became boring when it was a breeze. Winning every single match at a canter is crap, basically.
It's nice to know skilled gamers will be able to take things up a notch once they've mastered Legendary. Plus, the addition of Ultimate gives those playing on Professional or World Class something to aim for in the long run, and that progression is what guiding your favourite side through a few seasons is all about.
