FIFA 20: 10 Improvements We Want To See In Career Mode

8. An Enhanced Deadline Day

We're not expecting to see Jim White prancing about the place shouting about how the transfer window is only open for another nine hours, but the 'Deadline Day' package in FIFA 20 could do with a rethink. EA's designers must be aware of Sky Sports' coverage as the clock ticks down, and they should be offering that same level of unpredictability and entertainment.

Right now, whilst inoffensively implemented, the final day of that transfer window is more of a nuisance than anything. It's 10 clicks of X/A that we could do without, and that shouldn't be the case. FIFA 20 should capitalise on real football's obsession with a magical 24-hour period and throw in some drama.

Press Conference scenes can come along too. They'd enhance it.

Picture this: you sign a new striker last-minute (Troy Deeney to Stuttgart is admittedly a poor choice) and want to parade him in front of the media. At the same time, you, as manager, wish to let everyone know that he'll be the difference maker for the remainder of the season.
