FIFA 20: 10 Legends Who Need To Be Added To Ultimate Team

6. Roger Milla

Regardless of how cutthroat the modern game has become with its simulation, its money men, and its excessive player power, we can all agree that there’s something still to be enjoyed about just seeing a footballer with a smile on their face. And few footballers ever had as big a grin as Roger Milla.

Cameroonian striker Milla erupted onto the international football scene at the 1990 World Cup. While it was his undeniable joy, lethal finishing and trademark celebration that many instantly think of when reminiscing about Milla and his Italia ’90 exploits, it’s also all kinds of bonkers to think that the forward was 38 years of age at that time.

Age would not keep Roger Milla down, however, and he’d even appear and score at the USA-hosted 1994 World Cup. Obviously, complete with dancing at the corner flag in celebration.

While he may not have been the greatest player in terms of technique, and at times his knees looked as if they were made of jelly, Ultimate Team needs a cult hero at times. And nothing quite says cult hero like Roger Milla.
