While possibly not the most recognisable name on this list, Alfredo Di Stefano is undoubtedly one of the greatest talents in the history of the beautiful game. With a career spanning over two decades, Di Stefano won five European Cup's while with Real Madrid, and was twice named winner of the Ballon d'Or.

Born in Argentina, Di Stefano began his career in his native country before taking his footballing talents to Europe enjoying a hugely successful spell in Madrid where he remains the third-highest scorer in the club's history.

Di Stefano also strangely played international football for three different countries, turning out for Argentina, Colombia, and Spain but, despite travelling with the latter in 1962, never played at a World Cup.

As one of the most prolific players in the history of the game, Di Stefano deserves his place amongst the Icon's featured in FIFA 21.
