Really it's incredible that he even held on to his 83 rating for FIFA 20, as he posted the exact same figures (2 goals and 2 assists) in even more games in the 2018/19 season.
In fact, Diego Costa's numbers since returning to the Madrid club have been overwhelmingly poor considering he is the 3rd most expensive transfer in their history.
In 3 seasons and 44 league matches, he has managed just 15 goals and assists. To put this into perspective, Martin Braithwaite has contributed 18 goals and assists in 43 games over the last 2 seasons.
