FIFA 21: 8 Reasons To Give Career Mode A Chance

4. Schedule Planning Actually Works

The beauty of EA's new Career Mode enhancements is that they're entirely optional. You can still have a laugh just going from game-to-game without bothering about some of them, but you won't squeeze as much from your Career that way. Don't sleep on the weekly schedule planning if you're serious about training.

FIFA 21 links player fitness, sharpness and morale together with three different meters that dictate just how well your team play in upcoming matches. Keep this in mind if you're in charge of a club balancing league, cup and European football; you're in control of rest days, lighter recovery training and full-blown sessions.

Again, you can plump for a basic template if you like (intermittent training), or you can develop your very own tailored plan that ensures your squad reach that all-important sharpness level quickly. The only way to do this is to actually play some of the training drills and get high grades.

Then, you can sim them and get similar grades from that point on. It's a rewarding system.
