Football Manager 2013: 10 Extremely Under Rated Premier League Players

4. Shaun Wright-Phillips (QPR)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyKd6Yv5kf4 Ian Wright's son has had a very rollercoaster career featuring for two of the giant clubs, Man City and Chelsea. He has found himself at QPR and hasn't really proved his doubters wrong during his first season there, though no-one can say he isn't a talented footballer. Thankfully his pace and work rate are reflected well in-game but practically everywhere else he's let down by the scouts. Crossing and passing of 9 are quite harsh as his end-product is better then that of Walcott typically and I do feel he does have better composure than he's granted. At the age of 30 he hasn't got many more years in the Prem with these stats so expect him to slip down the leagues and he perhaps the next big signing at Newport County, assuming they do the job in-game that they're doing in real life.

3. Lee Cattermole (Sunderland)

Sunderland's captain has recently signed a new long term deal to stay at the club for the foreseeable future, and with the form he's shown in past seasons, you can't blame them for trying to put off any potential suitors. Lee has always been rated for his physical presence on the pitch and his combative quality but these are missed in FM13. His tackling, strength and determination are lower then I would have expected and he's almost labelled more as a general CM than a ball winning midfielder. Other areas of his play are fairly shown, but for a player who's typecast as the brute in the middle of the park, I don't think his stats quite live up to this.
