Football Manager 2013: 10 Extremely Under Rated Premier League Players

6. Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)

This 17yr old has broken onto the scene at Liverpool this season and has added an energy and vigour, previously lacking from their line up. Sure he hasn't done much prior to 2012-2013, but I think his potential should be given a bit of a boost and quite a few of his stats too. He has only 7 stats that are above an 11, which is very poor showing, though at least his pace and dribbling are rated well at 14-16. Aside from these the others are just badly rated, his lowest stat rating being a... 2! How can any human being, let alone a young lad of 17 have a jumping rating of 2? Per Mertesacker can't jump but has a rating of 20 (actually I should have included him in my Criminally Over-Rated article) much like Peter Crouch, does natural height affect the jumping stat?

5. Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxizAajAOBk Being compared to Bobby Moore is very high praise indeed and if Sir Bobby was still a player now that I'd like to think he'd have stats to match his ability. The Argentine however does not fair as well as expected in FM13, esp compared to his peers at other clubs. A jumping stat of 11 screams in consistency when compared to likes of Per Merty, and I think the way he's shrugged players off the ball this season and last should allow him a strength rating higher then 12 (the same as 'The Ox btw). Many of his stats are rated well but I don't think overall he's given the credit he deserves for his work at Newcastle, considering many laughed when he was signed for £8 million in 2008. This form has seen him rejoin the Argentive set-up and he's been courted by several big teams across Europe, just a shame Newcastle are unlikely to sell aye?
