Football Manager 2015: 10 Challenging Teams You Must Consider Managing

1. Olympique Marseille

One of the great European clubs, Marseille have been gifted with a beautiful city, a passionate fanbase and a stunning renovated stadium. Their annual revenue is 16th biggest in the world and they are the only French team to have ever won the Champions League. Whilst it's not true to call Marseille a 'sleeping' giant, they're certainly underachievers. On the pitch, they're blessed with great attacking midfielders like Andre Ayew, Florian Thauvin, Romain Alessandrini and Dimitri Payet playing behind Andre-Pierre Gignac. They'd be even better had they not sold Cesar Azpilicueta, Loic Remy, Mathieu Valbuena in recent years. At the back, captain Steve Mandanda is a superb goalkeeper, whilst Doria was one FM14's wonderkids (even if Marcelo Bielsa doesn't use him in real life). Also in defence, Nicolas N'Koulou is being courted by some of the world's best clubs. But maybe, with some ambition and shrewd spending, Marseille will become one of these clubs. It'll be tough without a sugar daddy like those at PSG and Monaco, but Marseille are a huge club. That should count for something. Similar Challenges Newcastle (England), Schalke (Germany)
