This is a fantastic no-nonsense transfer. Simão is the definition of a bargain, with the holding midfielder being available for just £4.7m. At 27 years of age, he is at the peak of his powers, and you'll struggle to find a better value-for-money ball-winning midfielder to sit in front of the back four. Though Simão is undoubtedly limited, he is a fantastic defensive acquisition - allowing your more creative players to roam forward without leaving your back-line overly-exposed.
