4. Off The Pitch Scandal

My friend still swears by the fact that during one of his early Championship Manager days his star striker was randomly involved in a distressing car crash and due to the severe spinal injuries that he suffered he didn't play football again. Whether this is true or not, nobody knows (except my mate's conscience) but it would be brilliant if random unique things could happen during any individual save. The main enjoyment of the Football Manager series if that your game is extremely personal and you develop your own stories and anecdotes that others won't have experienced. Now, if Sports Interactive were going to introduce, car accidents, court appearances or night club scuffles it would have to be eased in gently but overall it would add another fantastic dimension to the game.
