Football Manager 2018: 20 Wonderkids You Will Need To Sign
10. Timo Werner
RB Leipzig provided one of European Football's greatest stories by shooting to the top of the German Bundesliga early in the 2016/17 season. They fell-off towards the end, but still finished second to Bayern Munich overall - an excellent achievement for the side's first ever top flight spell.
Striker Timo Werner was a huge reason for their success, scoring an impressive 21 goals in 31 Bundesliga games. He was a solid prospect in FM17, but his fantastic season should ensure wonderkid status this time around, and he's still only 21 years old, despite making a combined 126 league appearances for Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart. Pace and positioning were his key attributes last year, but while Werner was blight by low mental stats in FM17, that hopefully won't be the case this year.
