Football Manager 2020: 10 Expected Wonderkids You Must Sign

7. Karamoko Dembele – Celtic

Many may often poke fun at Scottish football and the SPL’s monotonous one-horse title race, so it came as a little bit of a surprise for FM2019 players to discover that one of the best prospects on the game lay in the youth ranks of Celtic.

On Football Manager 19, Karamoko Dembele proved to be one of the best-kept secrets, and his stock is only going to be that much greater when FM2020 gets here. The 16-year-old winger has already been involved with the Celtic first team – making one substitute appearance and being named on the bench for the Scottish Cup Final – and manager Neil Lennon has alluded that the youngster may well become a prominent member of the first team squad going into the 2019/2020 season.

Having already represented both England and Scotland at youth level, young Dembele is also eligible to play for Ivory Coast. Keddy’s last foray into international football was with the Scotland Under-17 side, although he can still pick any of those nations when it comes deciding which senior international side to play for. And if he progresses as many expect, he could well walk into any of those national teams in a few years.
