Club: Anderlecht

Nationality: Belgian

Price: £6.5 million

Anderlecht's Yari Verschaeren is an intelligent, creative attacking midfielder who you should immediately assign a scout to whenever you choose to start a new FM22 save. Beginning the game as a 20-year-old who already has a handful of international caps to this name, this classy youngster can develop into one of the best CAMs on the game.

After a couple of seasons, Verschaeren's value will skyrocket to £40 million or so - meaning this is someone who it's better to get in sooner rather than later.

Should you move for the Belgian early into your FM22 career, you should be able to convince Anderlecht to let him go for around £6.5 million. Considering this is a player who becomes a nailed-on starter for his national team after a season or two, that represents exceptional value for money.

In addition to being a great CAM - ideally as an advanced playmaker or enganche - Yari is just as comfortable playing as a straight CM, as an inverted winger/inside forward coming in from the left wing, or as a wide playmaker or out-and-out winger on the right.
