Football Manager 2022: 10 Attacking Midfielders You Must Sign

6. Yusuf Demir

Club: Barcelona (on loan from Rapid Vienna)

Nationality: Austrian

Price: £12 million

In theory, Yusuf Demir is on loan at Barcelona ahead of sealing a permanent transfer to the Spanish giants at the end of your first season.

Unfortunately for Barca, the grim reality is that they haven't got enough finances to (usually) make this move permanent on FM22. As such, that offers up the chance for others to snap up the ridiculously promising Austrian midfielder.

The aforementioned loan deal means that you can't actually sign Demir during the first season, but you can put a deal in place to have him join you once that temporary Barca arrangement comes to a close. And to do just that, you'd need to be offering Rapid Vienna somewhere in the region of £12 million to get this one over the line.

Versatile, this 18-year-old can play pretty much anywhere across your midfield, although he will often kick up a stink if you don't deploy him as a CAM in the advanced playmaker role. Regardless of where you drop Demir into your side, though, he'll always deliver the goods - with his technique, flair, dribbling and overall speed marking him out as an absolute bargain.
