Football Manager 2022: 10 Defensive Midfielders You Must Sign

6. Owen Otasowie

Football Manager 2022 Joao Palhinha
SEGA

Club: Club Brugge

Nationality: American

Price: £10 million

With a jumping reach of 17 to go with his 6'3" height, Owen Otasowie can be a monstrous, dominant force in your midfield. To perfectly compliment that mixture of height, this young USA international has some damn fine numbers for strength (15), pace (15), acceleration (15) and balance (15).

So, you have speed, strength, height as the basics on offer to start with when it comes to Otasowie. Elsewhere, he's got solid enough stats to get by for now, and there are clearly promising starting numbers for tackling, work rate, determination, bravery and agility here.

Even though he only signed for Club Brugge in the summer, you should still be able to sign Otasowie for £10 million or even less. For that price, you get a player who has so many great tools to work with, and someone who can become a midfield beast if you can develop some of his mental and technical stats.

It's also worth noting how the former Wolves prospect is already a full USA international, and he looks set to becoming a pivotal part of the national team setup for years to come.
