Football Manager 2022: 10 Goalkeeper Wonderkids You Must Sign
5. Giorgi Mamardashvili (Valencia)
The 20-year-old Georgian goalie is already moving up in the world of European football, having completed a move from Dinamo Tbilisi to the Spanish giants Valencia this past summer.
Los murciélagos first signed him on a loan deal, but he impressed manager José Bordalás so much that they made the deal permanent. He even got twelve starting opportunities, which eventually earned him an international cap for Georgia.
He is the oldest player in this entire list, so it makes sense that he is more developed and formed as a footballer, but even with that in mind, his Football Manager attributes are impressive. There are hardly any weaknesses to his game, and his strengths are incredibly well-distributed. A fantastic shot-stopper with great handling and reflexes, he is great with crosses (6'6" in height with a 15 jumping reach), and comfortable with the ball at his feet. He has also got a cannon of a left foot, so if you ever need to go route one, he will deliver.
For a bargain bin price of around £2.7 - 8.2 million, you are getting a player who is ready for the first team, and has still got a loot of room to improve.
