Club: Granada

Nationality: Portugal

Price: £10 million

Of all of the goalkeepers featured here, Luis Maximiano is arguably the least known amongst Football Manager fans.

Having shown plenty of promise in his appearances for Sporting Lisbon, the Portuguese made the move to Granada this past summer after being dislodged by Antonio Adan (another fine FM option). While it's still very much early days for the 22-year-old in La Liga, going a few seasons deep on FM22 suggests that the 6'3" Luis could prove to be an extremely astute signing for Grenada.

While Rui Patricio has pretty much monopolised the Portugal national team's goalkeeping spot for the past ten years, it could well be that Luis Maximiano and Porto's impressive Diego Costa are battling it out for that position for the next decade.

Ideally, you should be able to get Maximiano for £10 million on FM22, although at a push Granada may try and get a fee closer to £12 million for their man. Still, either of those figures represent a good investment - although this could be a deal that may be a tad tricky to get over the line in your first season.
