Club: Real San Sebastián

Nationality: Spanish

Price: £36 million

Some of the goalkeeping picks here are very much with one eye on the long-term future, but Alex Remiro is absolutely for the here and now.

At 26 years of age, Remiro is someone who you can plug into your side from the get-go and you'll have a 'keeper who will serve you well for a good five or six years. While La Liga is all about Thibaut Courtois and Jan Oblak when it comes to the league's best GKs, Remiro can fly a little under the radar for some gamers.

In the Real San Sebastián (see: Real Sociedad) stopper, there's a player who is a great B+ level talent who could provide to be a brilliant option for those sides looking to grow from midtable teams to top class clubs. If you're one of those teams who are historically viewed as finishing 6th - 12th in your division, Remiro is a fantastic signing.

Sure, a price tag of roughly £36 million may be viewed as pretty high for such clubs, but this is an outlay that means you won't have to worry about your goalkeeper position for a good few years.
