Club: Borussia Dortmund

Nationality: German

Price: £35 million

The obvious caveat here, is that you'll need to be one of the elite clubs to sign Youssoufa Moukoko at the start of Football Manager 2022.

£35 million is a hell of a lot of money to pay for a 16-year-old, but you can take a look at 18-year-old Wayne Rooney moving from Everton to Man Utd for £27 million as an example of how splashing out big on a teenager can reap huge rewards.

In the real world, Moukoko made his senior debut for Borussia Dortmund in November 2020, just one day after his 16th birthday; in turn making him the youngest player in the history of the Bundesliga. The following month he would make his first Champions League appearance and score his first senior goal.

All of this promise has been perfectly realised in FM22 for the Cameroon-born German youth international, with Moukoko having stunning starting numbers of 16s for technique, determination, acceleration and agility, and 15s for finishing, pace, dribbling, flair and natural fitness.

Again, for someone only 16 years of age, those stats are absolutely insane. So, if you can afford the admittedly hefty fee, be sure to swoop for Youssoufa Moukoko as soon as you possibly can.
