Ghost Of Tsushima: 10 Things We NEED To See

4. In-Depth Customisation

A stand out feature of any good RPG game is the ability to tailor both your characters look and skills to suit your preferences. This is especially important in games that give the player different routes to take, such as fighting like an honourable Samurai or like a dishonourable assassin. You want to be able to dress and perform for the occasion, whether that occasion is a headfirst slice and dice frenzy or a sneaky stabbing session.

Ghost of Tsushima should not disappoint on this level. What we saw on customisation in the new State of Play video released was impressive. It needs to give the players complete freedom to look and play as they feel. More importantly, it needs to make you feel as badass as you look, with relevant buffs and skills that enhance your chosen playstyle.

As part of the State of Play presentation, we saw an example of Jin collecting dye flowers to change the colour of his equipment. This is a nice touch and is hopefully an example of how much thought Sucker Punch is putting into the finer details of crafting and customisation.
