It's up to Rockstar to work out the finer points - namely how on Earth we'd get an F-35 in the first place - but as long as they can get us there, we're willing to go along with whatever zany plot they concoct. Perhaps this could be another prospective climactic mission, as wasting it on anything less would seem just seem ridiculous. The bad guys think they've won, but they're wrong, as you show up in this monstrosity, and begin wailing away on everything in sight with machine fire and rockets, blowing them to bits. Maybe even throw in an enemy jet, making for GTA's first dogfight in the series; this could be a seriously cool way to hew back to the sillier, less-realistic roots of the earlier GTA games while still doing what the series does best, and thrilling the Hell out of us.
